DREAMING BIG FOR SUCCESS
Sometimes we get so much busy in our daily life chores that we forget to dream a life bigger than we think. We get ourselves caught in household chores, daily routine and all these noises of life that we don’t even take some time to think and dream. There is more to our lives than just eating, sleeping and doing a job.
Maybe we don’t dream big because we think that our dreams are not possible. We don’t see them as reality. But what if I told you that our dreams are possible? What if they can become reality? If we start to see our dreams as possible then we will work for them. Looking at the lives of all the people who came from nothing to something will motivate us to go for our dreams.
As Lao Tzu said :
“ A Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step “
So if we will not start the journey of our dreams today then when will? Dreams are one of those things that keep us happy and alive. If you think that you are not able to achieve the things you dream because you don’t have resources then think twice because almost the people in the world who have achieved something big doesn’t have the perfect resources too. But they saw that dream in their mind and then worked hard for that dream. Whether you look at the lives of people in history or today’s world you will find out that they came from nothing to something. Look at the lives of Oprah Winfrey, Elon Musk, David So if we will not start the journey of our dreams today then when will? Dreams are one of those things that keep us happy and alive. If you think that you are not able to achieve the things you dream because you don’t have resources then think twice because almost the people in the world who have achieved something big doesn’t have the perfect resources too. But they saw that dream in their mind and then worked hard for that dream. Whether you look at the lives of people in history or today’s world you will find out that they came from nothing to something. Look at the lives of Oprah Winfrey, Elon Musk, David Goggins and many others. Reading the story of these people will inspire and motivate you more to achieve goals and live a bigger life.
There is also a recipe to dream big and working for them. That is Dua, Hardwork, Consistency, Certainty, Husn Ad Dhan Billah. Let’s read about this from the religious point of view too.
1: Dua — first thing I can emphasis is Dua, increase your dose of Dua so much and ask Him with full conviction. Tell Him your goals, no matter how unrealistic they look to you, Tell Him, Ask Him. Because they are not unrealistic for your Lord. He is not going to mock you or judge you for your goals as people do. He is the Merciful Lord. He is the supportive Lord. He loves You. He wants you to achieve bigger things. But for this, you have to ask Him. You see what our Prophet Muhammad SAWW told us that: Dua can change destiny (Tirmidhi). So go and ask everything from Him because He has your back.
2: HardWork-
The next thing is to strive, work hard with dedication and passion. No one in the world has achieved something without working hard. You see all the successful people in the world didn’t have a magic wand, they strive for what they want. They were having a burning passion in their heart to achieve their goal no matter how big it was.
“Man gets whatever he strives for” اَنْ لَّیْسَ لِلْاِنْسَانِ اِلاّٰ مَا سَعٰی
3. Consistency-
The third thing is Consistency. You have to take small consistent steps. It’s not that you are going to achieve what you want in a few months or days. No. Sometimes it takes years. So you have to be consistent and develop yourself as a person. You don’t have to lose hope if you don’t see results. You have to be patient. Achieving goals take a long time. Some goals are able to achieve easily but some goals are so big that they have to take some time. Give yourself some time.
The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wassalam said, “Know that the most beloved deed to Allah is that which is performed regularly even if it is small.”

Success is most often achieved by small consistent steps.
4. Certainty
The fourth thing is Certainty. You should believe that you will achieve your goals. You should see it in your heart. You should feel it. You should have so much conviction and Certainty inside you that no outer circumstance create doubt in you. You have to believe in yourself. Allah tells us in the Quran :
فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ﴾
“Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah”.
So you don’t have to give up unless you achieve what you want. You have to grind yourself, crush yourself unless you achieve what you want. But Hear me, giving up is not the choice.
5. Husn Ad Dhan Billah.
This is the most important. We should have a good opinion of our Lord that if we are doing everything to achieve our goal, then we will see His help. Then He will definitely make us reach our goal.
Allah says in Hadith Qudsi that “I am as My Servant Thinks (expects) I am
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) said, “Allah the Highest said, ‘I am as My servant thinks (expects) I am. I am with him when he mentions Me. If he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in an assembly, I mention him in an assembly greater than it. If he draws near to Me a hand’s length, I draw near to him an arm’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.’”
[Sahih Al-Bukhari]
So with Duaas, Consistency, Certainty, Hard word, You have to also be Positive and good opinion of The Loving Lord. He never wastes the hard work and dedication of His slaves.
So this is my recipe for Dreaming big and striving for Success. I hope and pray to Allah that this helps you in achieving your biggest goals.
